Andrew Krystal, MD

Dr. Krystal is the Ray and Dagmar Dolby Distinguished Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology, Vice-Chair for Research in the Department of Psychiatry, Director of the Dolby Family Center for Mood Disorders, Director of the UCSF Interventional Psychiatry Program and Co-Director of the TMS & Neuromodulation Clinic. He is Board Certified in Clinical Neurophysiology by the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Elissa Hamlat, PhD, MA

Elissa June Hamlat received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Temple University in 2017. Her research focuses on the pubertal transition as a developmental period of risk for physical and mental health problems, particularly those associated with depression. At UCSF, she works primarily with Dr. Elissa Epel to better understand the biological processes underlying the relationships between puberty and health outcomes throughout the lifespan. She is interested in racial and ethnic differences in these relationships and how they may contribute to health disparities.
