Seasonal Wellness Beverage: Chai Drink

Chai tea is a nutritious tea blend that may help support your heart health by reducing blood pressure and cholesterol.¹ This winter, be sure to stay warm with a delicious hot chai beverage with aromatic spices.

Hot Chai Drink


- 1 cup non-dairy milk

- 1 black tea (loose or 2 tea bags)

- 3 cardamom pods

- 1/4 cinnamon stick

- 1/4 tsp. of nutmeg

- 1 clove

- Sweetener of choice

-Optional for an anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting drink: add 1 piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric

Heat the non-dairy milk in a small saucepan, then add the content of the tea bag and additional spices. Sweeten to taste, strain, and enjoy.
