Seeking Qualified Mindfulness Teachers
We are seeking certified mindfulness teachers to teach and lead an experiential small group on mindfulness and climate resilience for UC students for the 2025 UC Climate Resilience Course. Read more about the inaugural 2024 course here!
We are building a California-wide initiative for students, preparing them with tools, both personal and in support of others, to address the polycrisis with wisdom, compassion, and skillful action. Our evaluation shows we can have a major impact on their mental health, world views, and self-efficacy for change.
The UC Climate Resilience Class helps students to develop mindfulness skills and deep listening around the polycrisis to help manage eco-anxiety and improve their emotional well-being. It will provide them with advocacy skills for local action.
We are seeking expert mindfulness-trained leaders, ideally with a background in ecology/climate, to volunteer to teach/facilitate 8 sessions from March to June 2025 (quarter-system campuses) or January to May 2025 (semester system campuses) for one or more small groups. We provide an honorarium, plus compensation for travel and parking.

- University of California, Los Angeles (quarter-system)
- University of California, Riverside (quarter-system)
